PaidLine Zoom Integration Guide
PaidLine integrates with Zoom to allow users to host paid video consultations directly through the PaidLine platform. After connecting a Zoom account, PaidLine can create and manage Zoom meetings on behalf of the authorized user.
1. Adding the App
Prerequisites
- A valid Zoom account is required.
- A PaidLine account is required.
- Users must have permission to authorize third-party Zoom apps.
Steps to Connect Zoom
- Log in to your PaidLine account.
- Navigate to: Settings → Integrations → Zoom
- Click Connect Zoom.
- You will be redirected to the Zoom authorization page.
- Review the requested permissions.
- Click Allow.
- After authorization, you will be redirected back to PaidLine.
- Your Zoom account is now connected.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
- Ensure popups are enabled.
- Verify your Zoom account is active.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.
- Ensure all required permissions were approved.

Creating Video Calls
- Start or accept a paid consultation through PaidLine.
- PaidLine automatically creates a Zoom meeting.
- Participants receive the meeting join link.
- Session duration is tracked using Zoom webhook events.
Meeting Lifecycle
PaidLine tracks:
- Participant join events
- Participant leave events
- Meeting end events
This data is used only for:
- Session management
- Billing calculations
- Meeting lifecycle handling

3. Removing the App
Option 1 — Disconnect from PaidLine
- Log in to your PaidLine account.
- Navigate to: Settings → Integrations → Zoom
- Click Disconnect Zoom.
This removes locally stored Zoom access tokens from PaidLine systems.
Option 2 — Remove from Zoom Marketplace
- Log in to your Zoom account.
- Navigate to: Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps
- Search for PaidLine.
- Select the app.
- Click Remove.
Impact of Removal
- PaidLine will no longer create Zoom meetings.
- Existing Zoom sessions may stop functioning.
- Future paid video sessions will require reconnecting Zoom.
Data Handling After Removal
- OAuth access tokens are deleted or invalidated.
- No meeting recordings are retained.
- Minimal meeting metadata may be retained for billing and compliance purposes.
PaidLine does not store Zoom audio/video recordings or Zoom chat content.
4. Troubleshooting
Zoom Account Not Connecting
- Reconnect Zoom.
- Clear browser cache.
- Ensure Zoom authorization was completed successfully.
Meetings Not Starting
- Ensure the Zoom account is active.
- Ensure required permissions were granted.
- Verify internet connectivity.
Session Ended Unexpectedly
PaidLine may automatically end sessions when participants leave in order to maintain billing accuracy and session integrity.

What permissions does PaidLine request?
PaidLine requests permissions required to:
- Create meetings
- Manage meeting status
- Retrieve basic user information
Does PaidLine store recordings?
No. PaidLine does not store:
- Video recordings
- Audio recordings
- Zoom chat messages
Can I reconnect Zoom later?
Yes. Users can reconnect Zoom at any time from PaidLine settings.
