What caller ID will client’s see when I return missed calls or make an outbound call to an existing client?

When you return a missed call or make an outbound call to a client through PaidLine, the caller ID displayed to the client will show your PaidLine number, not your personal number. This ensures your privacy is always protected while maintaining a consistent, professional identity for your clients.

PaidLine provides dedicated callback extension for each of your callers, allowing you and your clients to communicate freely — just like you would if you each had one another’s real phone numbers. Both you and your caller also receive each other’s vCard (digital contact card), making it easy to save contact details for future conversations.

When you call a client back, the caller will still be billed for the call at your standard per-minute rate. If the caller already has a saved payment method, PaidLine automatically processes the charge — there’s no need for them to re-enter payment details unless they prefer to use a different card.

This setup provides a seamless, two-way communication experience while keeping personal phone numbers private and ensuring accurate billing.

Pro Tip: Encourage clients to save your PaidLine vCard so they can easily recognize your number and reconnect whenever they need your expertise — it reinforces professionalism and client loyalty.
