What if I decline an inbound call to my PaidLine number?
If you manually decline a PaidLine call, the caller will immediately hear a polite message letting them know that you’re unavailable and inviting them to try again later. The caller is not charged, and the declined call will still appear in your PaidLine Dashboard under Call History.
From there, you’ll see the caller’s unique ID or name (if registered), the time of the attempted call, and their unique PaidLine extension, which you can use to easily reconnect.
Additionally, PaidLine also provides vCards (digital contact cards) to both you and the caller after your first interaction. You can use the caller’s vCard to save their PaidLine contact info in your phone, making it quick to return the call later without needing to look up their extension.
Pro Tip: If you know you’ll be unavailable for a while, switch your status to “Unavailable” in your Dashboard. This prevents missed or repeated call attempts while keeping your availability clear to callers.
At a Glance:
• Declined calls are not billed.
• Callers hear a message that you’re unavailable.
• Declined calls appear in your Dashboard and Call History.
• Reconnect easily using the caller’s extension or vCard.
• Use Unavailable mode to prevent repeated attempts.
