Can I change my primary number once it is verified and associated with my PaidLine account?
Yes — you can update the primary phone number linked to your PaidLine account if your primary number changes.
To maintain account security and ensure uninterrupted call routing, all primary number changes must be processed by the PaidLine team. Simply email [email protected] from your registered account email and include the new phone number you’d like to associate with your account.
Once received and processed, PaidLine will send a one-time verification code to the new number. After you confirm that code, your account will be updated, and all future PaidLine calls will forward to the new number.
Your actual PaidLine number (the one callers dial) will remain the same — only the underlying forwarding number is updated.
If you only want to add/change your forwarding number (the phone where you want to receive PaidLine calls), you can also do so directly in your Dashboard → Settings → Manage Numbers → Add Number. PaidLine allows you to add and verify multiple forwarding numbers, giving you flexibility to switch between devices — for example, between a work phone, personal phone, or backup line. Each forwarding number must be verified via a one-time code before calls can be routed to it. Once verified, you can set your active forwarding number.
Pro Tip: If you use multiple devices, verify all of them in advance. This way, you can easily toggle between forwarding numbers from your account without needing to reverify each time.
