Will callers be able to see my real number?
No — callers will never see your real phone number when they contact you through PaidLine. Privacy is built into every part of the PaidLine system.
When someone calls your PaidLine number, the call is securely routed through PaidLine’s network, which masks both parties’ real phone numbers. The same privacy protection applies to outbound and callback calls.
You’ll see your own PaidLine number displayed on your screen when you receive a call. When you return a call to a client through PaidLine, the system automatically connects the session using your PaidLine number. The caller’s device will again display your PaidLine number, not your private/personal phone number.
Additionally, PaidLine provides both you and the caller with each other’s vCard (digital contact card) after your first interaction. These cards make it easy to save PaidLine contact info for future communication — allowing ongoing, direct calls through PaidLine while still keeping everyone’s personal numbers private.
Pro Tip: Save your own PaidLine number in your phone’s contacts (e.g., as “PaidLine Incoming”) so you can instantly recognize paid calls and prevent your device (i.e. if it has call screening feature) and carrier from flagging them as unknown or spam.
At a Glance:
• Real numbers are masked and not visible.
• All calls are routed securely through PaidLine’s system.
• Caller ID always shows your PaidLine number — never your personal one.
• Outbound and callback calls maintain full privacy.
• Both parties receive vCards for easy, secure future contact.
