Can I receive calls from international callers?
Your PaidLine number works like any U.S. number from the caller's perspective. Anyone with international dialing on their phone plan can reach you.
What the caller pays
- Your per-minute rate — same as any U.S. caller
- $1 connectivity fee — same as any U.S. caller, charged once per call
- Their own carrier's international rates — this is between them and their phone provider, not PaidLine
All PaidLine charges are billed in U.S. dollars to whatever card the caller enters. Their card-issuing bank handles the currency conversion automatically — they'll see the equivalent in their local currency on their statement.
What you receive
Identical to a domestic call. Your earnings post in U.S. dollars (net of the 10% platform fee), and the monthly payout to your U.S. bank account works the same way. International origination doesn't add any complexity on your side.
What you can do to help international callers
Mention in your bio that you accept international calls — particularly if your audience is global (academics, creators, cross-border professionals). It sets expectations and signals reach.
