Payment is the friction you don't want before a paid conversation. PaidLine's payment flow is designed to take maybe ten seconds the first time, and zero seconds every time after.

What's accepted

  • Visa (credit and debit)
  • Mastercard (credit and debit)
  • American Express

How it's secured

Card data is encrypted in the browser, transmitted directly to the PCI-compliant payment partner, and tokenized there. PaidLine never sees or stores raw card numbers — not engineers, not support, not the database. A secure token represents the card for future charges. See Are payments processed securely? for the full detail.

Saved across the platform

The first time a caller enters a card — whether they're calling you or another Pro — the card is saved to their PaidLine account (not yours). Future calls to any PaidLine number use the saved token. The caller can:

  • Update or switch their card at any time
  • Use a different card for a specific call
  • Remove saved cards from their account

The call-payment flow

  1. Caller dials your PaidLine number and confirms your rate.
  2. PaidLine pre-authorizes the card for the expected charge. If declined, the call doesn't connect — see What happens if a caller's payment declines?
  3. The call connects. PaidLine bills per minute (after the 30-second free grace period).
  4. After the call ends, the caller is charged only for actual time used. Your earnings post instantly to your balance.
