Calls
Do callers pay any fees on top of my rate?

PaidLine's pricing has exactly two consumer-facing charges per call: your per-minute rate (whatever you set) and a flat $1 connectivity fee. That's it. The connectivity fee is the same regardless of call length, your rate, or the time of day.
What the $1 covers
- Secure payment processing — pre-authorization, card tokenization, billing
- Call handling — connectivity, routing, telco minutes
- Privacy infrastructure — number masking, vCard delivery, identity protection
- Platform support — your dashboard, the caller's PaidLine account, ongoing system reliability
When the caller sees the fee
Before every call, the caller sees a clear breakdown:
"Rate: $X/min · Connectivity fee: $1 · Charged at end of call based on duration."
The caller must confirm both before payment authorizes. There is no scenario where they're charged anything they haven't already explicitly agreed to.
What's not charged
- No setup fee
- No "PaidLine convenience fee" or markup on top of your rate
- No per-transaction processing surcharge beyond the $1
- No charge for calls under 30 seconds — see Why aren't the first 30 seconds billed?
- No charge for missed or declined calls
