How do I set or change my availability?
You set the hours. PaidLine handles the rest — including telling callers when you're not available, without exposing your real schedule or contact info.
Where to set it
Dashboard → Your Number Settings → Availability. (Or use the availability toggle on the dashboard home for one-click changes.)
What you can configure
- Scheduled days and hours — e.g. Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM in your timezone
- Lunch breaks, recurring focus blocks — split availability within a day if needed
- Available/Unavailable toggle — overrides your schedule instantly for ad-hoc breaks
- Vacation mode — extend Unavailable for a date range
What callers experience off-hours
Callers reaching your PaidLine number outside your available hours hear a friendly automated message letting them know you're not available and inviting them to try later. If voicemail is enabled, they can leave a message — but they're never charged for a call that didn't connect.
The toggle vs. the schedule
The toggle is the override; the schedule is the default. Toggle Unavailable for an unexpected interruption (school called, dog vomited, head down on a deadline) — your scheduled availability stays intact and resumes when you toggle back. Use scheduled availability for predictable structure; use the toggle for in-the-moment flexibility.
