Missing a call doesn't cost you (or the caller) anything — and PaidLine makes it trivial to follow up without exposing your real number.

What happens the moment a call is missed

  1. The caller isn't billed. No card charge, no partial-minute fee. They walk away cleanly.
  2. You get an instant notification in your Dashboard, plus by text and email if you've enabled those preferences. The notification includes the caller's display name (if they have a registered Caller account), the time of the call, and their unique PaidLine extension.
  3. The caller's extension is saved in your missed-calls list — permanently. You can return the call 10 minutes later, 3 days later, or 3 months later.

How to return a missed call

Dial your own PaidLine number from your verified forwarding phone, and enter the caller's unique extension when prompted. PaidLine routes you to the caller directly — and you're paid for your time at your current rate. The caller's saved card is charged automatically; no friction.

What stays private

Both your real number and the caller's real number remain hidden. Both ends still see PaidLine as the caller ID. There's no way to accidentally leak personal contact info just because you returned a call.

The vCard exchange

After your first completed call together, PaidLine sends both of you each other's vCard (a digital contact card with PaidLine details). Save it once, and reconnecting in the future is a single tap — no need to manage extensions manually.
