How the masking works

When someone dials your PaidLine number, the call gets routed through PaidLine's network. The system connects them to your real phone, but their device only ever sees your PaidLine number as the caller ID. Your real number is never transmitted.

The same protection runs in reverse: when you return a missed call or initiate an outbound call through PaidLine, the caller's device shows your PaidLine number as the caller ID — not your personal line.

What you see on your end

When a paid call comes in, your device displays your own PaidLine number as the incoming caller ID. That's how you instantly recognize a paid call vs. a regular one.

What the caller can save

After your first completed call, PaidLine sends both parties each other's vCard — a digital contact card containing PaidLine details only. The caller can save you as a contact, dial you again with one tap, and PaidLine routes the call. Your real number never enters the picture.
