This is one of the most underrated PaidLine plays: turn a phone number you already own into a paid line without changing any of your existing marketing, business cards, or contact details.

How it works

  1. Enable call forwarding on your existing number. Each carrier has its own steps — typically a feature code or a settings option in your carrier's app. Forward to your PaidLine number.
  2. Anyone calls your existing number. The carrier instantly redirects the call to your PaidLine number.
  3. PaidLine handles the rest. Caller enters payment, agrees to your rate, call connects. Per-minute billing kicks in.

Privacy, billing accuracy, and call tracking work exactly the same as direct PaidLine calls.

Carrier-specific setup

Call-forwarding instructions vary by carrier:

  • iPhone (carrier-permitting): Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding
  • Android (carrier-permitting): Phone app → menu → Settings → Calls → Call forwarding
  • Most U.S. carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile): dial *72 followed by your PaidLine number to enable; *73 to disable
  • Landline / VoIP / Google Voice: check your provider's forwarding settings

Search "call forwarding [your carrier]" if you don't see your provider listed.

What this unlocks

  • No marketing rework. Your existing business cards, website, social profiles keep working — the number is unchanged from the caller's perspective.
  • Monetize old contacts. Anyone who already has your number can now reach you, on your terms, for paid time.
  • Soft transition. You can disable forwarding anytime to revert to your original setup.
