Your PaidLine number is yours as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, there's a window of time where it's still reservable for you — but not forever.

Free Caller accounts

Caller accounts don't include a dedicated PaidLine number. If you delete a Caller account, your call and payment history are erased, but there's no PaidLine number to lose. You can create a new Caller account anytime.

Pro accounts — scenarios

Scenario A: Cancel subscription, keep account

Your number is held for a grace period defined by PaidLine's current policies. Reactivate before the grace period ends and you keep the same number — no service gap. See What if I change my mind after canceling?

Scenario B: Cancel subscription, grace period expires

If you don't reactivate before the grace period ends, your number is released back into PaidLine's inventory. It may be claimed by another user. Once released, it cannot be recovered.

Your account itself stays preserved (data, settings, history). You can resubscribe anytime — but you'll need to select a new PaidLine number.

Scenario C: Permanently delete your Pro account

Your PaidLine number is released immediately. There's no grace period because the account itself is gone.

If you're unsure about staying

Don't delete your account if there's any chance you'll return. Cancellation preserves your data and gives you the grace-period window to come back. Deletion is final.
