Privacy is symmetric in PaidLine. The same number masking that protects you on inbound calls also protects you when you initiate calls — whether you're returning a missed call, following up on a conversation, or scheduling a callback.

What the client sees

Your PaidLine number appears as the incoming caller ID on their device. Same number they dialed originally, same caller ID for any callback you make. Your real number is never visible.

How outbound calls work

  1. Each caller you've spoken with has a unique extension, listed in your Call History.
  2. To call back: dial your own PaidLine number from your verified forwarding phone, then enter their unique extension when prompted.
  3. Or use the vCard: after your first completed call, PaidLine sends both parties a digital contact card. Save it once, and future calls are a single tap.
  4. The client gets a call from your PaidLine number, accepts, agrees to your rate, and the call connects.

Billing on callbacks

Outbound calls are billed identically to inbound calls — your standard per-minute rate (plus the $1 connectivity fee on the caller's end). If the client already has a saved payment method, PaidLine processes the charge automatically. They can switch cards before the call if they prefer.

The vCard exchange

The vCards exchanged after the first call are the key to seamless future communication. Both sides save each other's PaidLine contact (not personal numbers) and can reconnect anytime — through PaidLine, with billing and privacy intact.
