Calls
How do I return a missed call?

Returning a call through PaidLine takes one of two paths — manual (via extension) or one-tap (via vCard). Both preserve privacy and billing.
Method 1: Dial-back via extension
- Open your Call History in the dashboard. Each caller you've interacted with has a unique extension.
- Dial your own PaidLine number from your verified forwarding phone.
- Enter the caller's extension when prompted.
- PaidLine connects you directly to that caller. Their phone rings; caller ID shows your PaidLine number.
Method 2: One-tap callback via vCard
After every completed call, both you and the caller receive a vCard with PaidLine contact details. Save it to your phone once, and future calls are a single tap from your contacts — no extension to remember.
What happens on the client's end
- Their phone rings with your PaidLine number as caller ID
- They accept and the system confirms billing at your standard per-minute rate
- If their saved payment method is on file: PaidLine charges it automatically — they don't need to re-enter card details
- If they prefer a different card: they can switch before accepting
- Call connects after they confirm
What stays private
Same protections as inbound calls. Your real number is hidden. The caller's real number is hidden. Both ends see only PaidLine numbers. The vCard exchange preserves everyone's privacy while making future communication frictionless.
