Payment is built into the call flow itself — the caller never leaves the phone, opens a separate app, or follows a payment link.

The flow, step by step

  1. Caller dials your PaidLine number from any phone.
  2. They hear your greeting — voice you picked, custom bio (if set), your current per-minute rate, and the $1 connectivity fee.
  3. They confirm or hang up. No payment if they hang up — no charge, no card prompt.
  4. If first-time: they're prompted to enter a credit or debit card. If returning: their saved card is used automatically (or they can switch).
  5. PaidLine pre-authorizes the card. If declined, the call doesn't connect — see What happens if a caller's payment declines?
  6. The call connects. Your phone rings.
  7. PaidLine bills after the 30-second grace period (calls under 30 seconds aren't billed). Billing is per-minute at your rate, for the actual duration.
  8. Earnings post to your balance instantly when the call ends. Monthly payout to your bank account.

What's saved for next time

Once a caller enters a card, it's tokenized and saved to their PaidLine account — not yours. Future calls to any PaidLine Pro use the saved token. They can:

  • Switch to a different card mid-flow
  • Update saved card details anytime
  • Remove cards from their account

What you don't have to do

Nothing. No invoicing, no payment chasing, no manual processing, no PCI-compliance paperwork. PaidLine handles every step automatically through PCI-compliant payment partners.
