Calls
What if I'm busy when I receive a call?

Double-booking is a small fact of life when you take live calls. PaidLine treats it the way a good front desk would: friendly redirect, no awkward overlap, clean record so nothing falls through the cracks.
What the new caller experiences
- Hears a polite message letting them know you're currently on another call
- Is invited to try again later
- Is not charged — pre-auth never runs, no card is touched
What gets logged for you
The attempted call appears in your Dashboard → Calls with:
- Caller's display name (if they have a registered Caller account) or unique ID
- Timestamp of the attempt
- Their unique PaidLine extension — your tool for calling back
How to follow up
Same flow as any missed call. Dial your own PaidLine number from your verified forwarding phone, enter their extension when prompted. Or use the vCard saved after a previous call. See How do I return a missed call?
